Audioview, is a programme for and about people living with sight loss. The objective of the programme is twofold, firstly, to inform people living with sight loss on matters concerning the problem with interviews and information, news and advice, reports and announcements, all connected with sight loss. 

Secondly, public awareness of the problem. Society today is not too well informed about the problem of living with sight loss, one of the aims of this programme is to break down any barriers that exist towards the problem of sight loss. The programme will endeavour to inform the general public and make them aware of the needs of people living with sight loss, social integration, the do’s and don’ts the why’s and where fore’s  etc. 

A programme such as Audioview is really needed in today’s world, people living with sight loss are starved of information connected with the problem, very little information  appears   in the national media connected with vision impairment, it is hoped that Audioview will help in it’s own way to bridge that gap.
