 25 YEARS BROADCASTING -WERE YOU A VOLUNTEEER HERE ?  - We are celebrating 25 years broadcasting this year. The station began in November 1992 under the name of Dublin Public Service Radio Association trading as  Anna Livia FM. We have since changed our trading name to Dublin City FM. Over this 25 year period we have seen over 2,000 people involved with the station. are you one of them ?? We would love to hear from you.

The Dublin camogie team will take on Kilkenny in the All Ireland semi final in the Gaelic Grounds Limerick at 5.15pm tomorrow eveninmg. It is the first time since 1990 that Dublin have competed at this stage of the competition. 

Ireland's Ladie Rugby team suffered a defeat to France 21-5 in the World Cup yesterday evening. Ireland now compete in the 5th -8th place play offs against Australia next Tuesday in Belfast.

DUBLIN QUAYS FESTIVAL  - FULL LINE UP . We are one of the sponsors of the Dublin Quays Music Festival featuring an array of talent in seven Dublin Venues. The festival will begin this Thursday 17th August and goes on until Sunday 20th August. The venues are the Workman's Club, the Sound house, the Liquor Rooms, the Grand Social, Sin É, the Wiley Fox and Bagots Hutton. All the gigs are free so get out there and get going.
