Dublin City fm to broadcast Dublin v Antrim hurling matchDublin City fm will be broadcasting full live coverage of the Dublin v Antrim All-Ireland qualifying match from Croke Park this coming Saturday from 3pm.Classic Rock with Mick the Who will be broadcast at the later time of 5pm.Winddown and Jazzarama are deferred until the following Saturday.

Dublin City fm will be hosting a Christy Moore memorabilia exhibition by Kieran Kelly on Sunday 25th July at the station’s premises from 2-6pm.Kieran co-presents Sin E, our folk & ballad programme on Tuesdays 9pm.Kieran has been a huge fan of Christy’s over the last 35 years and has collected many items of memorabilia through that time.This is a labour of love for Kieran who has put this wonderful collection together. Admission to the exhibition is free, so why not come down to Dublin City fm, you never know there may be a few tunes playing too.

Dublin City fm have introduced seven new programmes in their Spring Schedule.

Mondays

12.30pm ‘Getting Work in Dublin’ presenter Ivan Agar.

Ivan explores the avenues of finding employment in Dublin in these recessionary times, discussing employment law and interviewing the experts in this field.

Tuesdays

1pm ‘ Financial Education’ presenters Darrell O’Dea and Marie O’Riordain.

Darrell and Marie help you with all your financial dealings.

Wednesdays

1pm   Cluidin presenter Dulra O’Riordain

Join Dulra and the school children of St.Joseph’s National School, Ringsend in this bi-lingual programme.


Thursdays

2pm ‘The Beatle Bug’ from Fridays 3pm moves to 2pm Thursdays.

3pm ‘ Employment Support ‘ presenter Peter Kearney

            Peter Kearney brings his expertise of Human Resources issues to the table with interviews from various experts.

10pm    ‘ National Express’ ,   Join Jenny Mulligan as she brings you in the best in new and upcoming talent on the Irish music scene.

Fridays

3pm    ‘Earth, Wind & Spire’ . Join the Environmental team as they look at all the issues of this nature affecting our city.

3.30pm ‘ Dublin Explorer’ presenter Denis Goodbody.   Denis takes you on a journey of Dublin City & County exploring the wonderful features, landscapes and buildings that Dublin has to offer.

Both these programmes replace’ The Beatle Bug’ which is now on Thursdays at 2pm.
