			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Fans of ‘Little Steven&#8217;s Underground Garage&#8217; will get another opportunity to hear the programme as it is now also broadcasting from 12 midnight to 2am on Sunday night - Monday morning.</p>
<p>The programme replaces ‘The Bassline&#8217; as Keith Mac takes a break after a great ten year spell. ‘Keith&#8217; real name Cormac has been with the station for over twelve years. The station would like to acknowledge Cormac&#8217;s  enormous contribution to the station and wish him well with his future career.<br />

We have also introduced a new talk programme ‘Dublin Women&#8217;s Chronicles&#8217; into the winter schedule.<br />
Presented by Kala Jackson, the programme looks back over the decades on what life was like for women in the capital. Where did they socialise, what kind of clothes did they wear, what was the stable diet and much more. Dublin Women&#8217;s Chronicles every Friday at 12.30 pm <br />

Dublin City fm&#8217;s have launched their 2009 Autumn schedule introducing four new programmes.<br />
 <br />
On the talk radio side, &#8216;Science Spin&#8217; and &#8216;Bag it Up&#8217; come on board. Science Spin is presented by science journalist Sean Duke, covering all aspects of science and also profiling the lives of Ireland&#8217;s most famous scientists. The programme is broadcast every Thursday at 3.30pm.<br />
 <br />
&#8216;Bag it Up&#8217; presented by journalist Gillian Hamill takes a look at the retail trade in Ireland, what&#8217;s going on from a consumer&#8217;s and retailers point of view and how they can benefit each other.&#8217; Bag it Up&#8217; is broadcast every Tuesday at 1pm.<br />
 <br />
We are also have back on board after a summer recess of the excellent &#8216;Mediascope&#8217; with Ellen Gunning. Ellen once again looks at the world of media and public relations.<br />
 <br />
On the music side the station are delighted to welcome back Paddy Coyle. Paddy will present Monday Melodies, a collection of easy listening tunes from a wide network of artists. So tune in to Monday Melodies every Monday at 2pm.<br />
 <br />
We are also delighted to have Cristina Duffy on board with &#8216;Broadway &amp; Beyond&#8217;. Lots of music and talk from the world of musicals including interviews with various musical societies around the country.Tune in to &#8216;Broadway &amp; Beyond&#8217; every Thursday at 2pm.<br />
 <br />
In addition we have programmes covering the arts,lifestyle,news,curent affairs,education,community issues,sport,niche music and multi-cultural programmes.<br />
 <br />
Our &#8216;Little Steven&#8217;s Underground Garage&#8217; continues to grow it&#8217;s audience after Steven&#8217;s  successful live gig in Tower Records in July.<br />
 <br />
We are also celebrating the 4th birthday of LiveDrive, Ireland&#8217;s only inter active live traffic programme run in conjunction with the Dublin City Council traffic management centre.Happy Birthday!!</p>

During the month of September, Dublin City fm and the Irish Academy of Public Relations hosted two groups of Italian students from the regional area of Liguria, near the city of Genoa.
