Dublin City fm launch Autumn Schedule
 
Dublin City fm’s have launched their 2009 Autumn schedule introducing four new programmes.
 
On the talk radio side, ‘Science Spin’ and ‘Bag it Up’ come on board. Science Spin is presented by science journalist Sean Duke, covering all aspects of science and also profiling the lives of Ireland’s most famous scientists. The programme is broadcast every Thursday at 3.30pm.
 
‘Bag it Up’ presented by journalist Gillian Hamill takes a look at the retail trade in Ireland, what’s going on from a consumer’s and retailers point of view and how they can benefit each other.’ Bag it Up’ is broadcast every Tuesday at 1pm.
 
We are also have back on board after a summer recess of the excellent ‘Mediascope’ with Ellen Gunning. Ellen once again looks at the world of media and public relations.
 
On the music side the station are delighted to welcome back Paddy Coyle. Paddy will present Monday Melodies, a collection of easy listening tunes from a wide network of artists. So tune in to Monday Melodies every Monday at 2pm.
 
We are also delighted to have Cristina Duffy on board with ‘Broadway & Beyond’. Lots of music and talk from the world of musicals including interviews with various musical societies around the country.Tune in to ‘Broadway & Beyond’ every Thursday at 2pm.
 
In addition we have programmes covering the arts,lifestyle,news,curent affairs,education,community issues,sport,niche music and multi-cultural programmes.
 
Our ‘Little Steven’s Underground Garage’ continues to grow it’s audience after Steven’s  successful live gig in Tower Records in July.
 
We are also celebrating the 4th birthday of LiveDrive, Ireland’s only inter active live traffic programme run in conjunction with the Dublin City Council traffic management centre.Happy Birthday!!
